Summer Recreation Program
CBVH sponsors a number of summer camp and recreational opportunities for youth who are legally blind. These programs serve both as recreational vehicles and as tools for developing initiative and enhancing social skills and self-esteem. Program participation helps youth who are legally blind to integrate and function independently in a social environment, key to success in future employment endeavors. Some of the programs are designed specifically for the children that CBVH works with, while other programs integrate the children into existing activities.
For more information on summer recreation opportunities, please contact your nearest district office children's counselor.
