Request for Proposals: New York State Kinship Caregiver Program
The New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) has released a $1 million request for proposals (RFP) for Kinship Caregiver Programs. The agency is seeking to fund six to nine new projects which will increase the State’s capacity to provide critical services to children and caregivers in kinship families Programs will be funded at approximately $125,000 each with contracts expected to run from 11/1/2009 through 10/31/2010. Options to renew for up to four one-year periods may be available based on future funding levels and satisfactory performance.
Proposals are due by July 22, 2009. Award announcements are anticipated by August 26th, 2009.
